AlgoMetric took part in the first Serbia-Canada Business Forum held in Toronto, an event marking an important step in strengthening economic relations between Serbia and Canada, with a focus on innovation, artificial intelligence, energy, and high-tech industries.
The forum brought together representatives of around 40 Serbian companies and more than 50 Canadian companies and institutions. The agenda included a series of B2B meetings aimed at identifying concrete opportunities for cooperation, investment, and the development of joint initiatives between the two markets.
As part of the visit, the AlgoMetric team also attended activities within the Canadian innovation ecosystem, including a visit to ventureLAB in Markham, Ontario. The organization is recognized as one of the country’s key technology accelerators, supporting the growth of early-stage and scaling companies while connecting them with industry partners and investors.
For AlgoMetric, these engagements provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives with international counterparts and gain a deeper understanding of current priorities and dynamics within the Canadian tech landscape.
The visit led to new professional connections and opened discussions around potential future collaboration between Serbian and Canadian partners in the technology sector.
